Upload and set the rules
Upload JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC files, organise them into sets, and choose a selection limit, whether clients may leave notes, and when the gallery expires.
Online photo proofing
Send each client a private proofing gallery. They pick favorites on their phone or computer, you get a clean list the moment they submit, and your previews stay protected the whole time.
How proofing works
Upload JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC files, organise them into sets, and choose a selection limit, whether clients may leave notes, and when the gallery expires.
Clients get an email invite and open the gallery with their email and the gallery PIN. There is no account or password to create.
In the browser or the free iOS and Android apps, clients add photos to named lists, leave notes and see how many picks they have left.
When a client submits, you are notified in the app and by email, and the gallery becomes read-only for them so the list stops changing.
Copy the selected filenames for a Lightroom filter, or download the selected originals as a ZIP.
Built for selections
Every feature is on every plan, including the Free plan.
My Favorites plus as many named, colour-coded lists as a client needs, such as Album, Wall art or Parents. Photos move between lists in a tap.
Set how many photos a client may choose per album, or leave it unlimited. Clients always see how many picks they have left.
Turn on client notes and clients can leave up to 1,000 characters on any photo: retouching requests, crops, or who is in the shot.
See who has submitted and who is still choosing. Set an album back to active when a client needs to change their mind.
Proofs can carry per-client watermarks, and the apps block screenshots, so the selection stage doesn’t give your work away.
Set an expiry date with a reminder, and hide the gallery automatically once the client has submitted.
FAQ
How clients choose, how you receive selections, and what PixoProof doesn’t do.
A private gallery where clients review the photos from their session and choose the ones they want edited, printed or included in an album. It replaces contact sheets and long email threads of file numbers.
No. Clients open the gallery from their email invite with their email address and the gallery PIN. The browser and the app remember them after that.
Yes: in the free PixoProof app for iOS and Android, which also blocks screenshots, or in any mobile browser when web access is on for the album.
Open the client’s selection and copy the filenames, with or without extensions, as a comma-separated list, then paste it into a Lightroom filter. You can also download the selected originals as a ZIP.
Clients can’t reopen a submitted selection themselves. You can set the album back to active, which returns submissions to draft so clients can edit and submit again.
Not inside PixoProof: there is no built-in store or checkout. Many photographers set a selection limit and quote extra images separately; our guide on pricing extra images covers how.
