This Cookie Policy explains how PixoProof (“PixoProof”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the PixoProof website, photographer application, client web galleries and related services (collectively, the “Services”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Essential cookies are set without consent because the Services cannot work without them. Analytics and marketing cookies are set only after you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner.
01What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use browser storage (local storage and session storage), which stores small amounts of data in your browser, and tracking pixels and scripts from the analytics providers listed below. For simplicity we refer to all of these as “cookies”.

The Meta Pixel is used only on the public website (pixoproof.com). Google Analytics is used on the public website and on the sign-in and sign-up pages of app.pixoproof.com, to measure completed sign-ups. Those app pages show the same cookie banner, and your choice applies on both. Neither is loaded in the photographer workspace, in client galleries, on password-reset pages or in the mobile apps.
Stripe may set its own cookies when you open the billing checkout; those are governed by Stripe’s cookie policy.
03Your choices
- On your first visit the cookie banner offers Essential only or Accept all. Nothing other than essential and functional cookies is set until you choose.
- You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from Cookie settings in the website footer. Withdrawing consent stops the analytics and marketing scripts from loading on your next page view.
- Your choice is stored in your browser for 12 months, after which we ask again.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in or opening galleries.
04Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
There is no common industry standard for responding to “Do Not Track” signals, so we do not respond to them. Where required under California law, we treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; because we do not sell or share personal information, no further action is needed.
05Data collected through cookies
Analytics and marketing cookies may collect your IP address (truncated by Google Analytics), device and browser type, pages visited and time spent, referring website, approximate location based on IP address, and cookie identifiers. Google and Meta process this information in the United States under their own privacy policies and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
06International transfers
Essential cookies are processed on our servers in Finland (European Union). Analytics and marketing data is processed by Google and Meta in the United States. Safeguards are described in our Privacy Policy.
07Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Policy when we add or remove cookies or when the law changes. The version number and “Last updated” date at the top show when the most recent changes were made.
