Client Getting Started Overview

Welcome to PixoProof. Your photographer has chosen PixoProof to deliver your photo gallery in a secure, private, and high-resolution viewing experience.

The Client Experience

When your photographer prepares your photos, they invite you directly to your private gallery. Here is what to expect throughout your journey:

1. Invitation & Access

  • You receive an invitation email from your photographer with an Open Your Gallery button and your Gallery PIN. Some photographers share the gallery link and PIN with you directly instead.
  • For privacy, access is protected by your email address and the Gallery PIN provided in your invitation.
  • Once you are signed in, your browser remembers you, so you can browse without re-entering your PIN every time. If you are signed out, simply open your invitation email again.

2. Gallery Cover & Overview

  • When you first unlock your gallery, you land on the gallery cover, featuring the gallery name, the event date, your photographer's studio name, and the gallery's expiry date if it has one.
  • Click View Album (or scroll down) to jump to your photos.

3. Navigation & Controls

A sticky navigation bar remains at the top of your screen as you explore:

  • Photo Sets: If your photographer organized your photos into sets (e.g., Ceremony, Reception, Portraits), tabs allow you to switch between them.
  • Favorites: Shows your favorite picks and how many you have chosen, plus any selection limit set by your photographer.
  • Menu: Quick access to Start download and My Downloads (when downloads are allowed), Slideshow, Replay guide, and Logout.
  • Submit favorites: When you finish choosing your favorite photos, this button sends your picks to your photographer.

4. Privacy & Protection

PixoProof protects your photographer's work from unauthorized copying. Right-clicking and dragging photos are turned off, the gallery is hidden when you switch away from it, and, if your photographer has turned them on, photos show a watermark while you view them.
