How to Select Your Photos

Once your gallery is open, choosing the photos you want takes just a few taps. This guide walks through the whole process on both the web gallery and the PixoProof mobile app.

1. Browse Your Photos

Scroll through your gallery to see every photo your photographer has shared with you. Tap or click any photo to open it fullscreen, then use the arrows to move between images (or swipe, in the mobile app). See Viewing Your Gallery for more.

2. Pick Your Favourites

Tap the heart on any photo to add it to your favourites. Tap it again to remove it.

If your photographer set a selection limit, you can pick up to that number of photos:

• Web gallery: the Favorites tab always shows how many you have chosen so far, for example Favorites (12 / 30).
• Mobile app: tap Review Selection at any time to see your running count.

3. Organise Into Lists (Optional)

If you would like to group your favourites — for example by outfit, location, or who the photos are for — you can create as many lists as you like.

• Web gallery: open the Favorites tab and use New List to create a list. Open the ⋯ menu on any list to rename or delete it, and press and hold a photo to move it into a different list.
• Mobile app: press and hold any photo to open your lists, then choose New List.

4. Add a Note (Optional)

If your photographer has enabled notes, you can leave a short message on any photo — a cropping request, a retouch note, or anything else you want them to know.

• Web gallery: open the Favorites tab, then use the speech-bubble note button on the photo.
• Mobile app: open the photo, then add your note.

Your photographer sees each note alongside your selection.

5. Review and Submit

When you are happy with your favourites, submit your selection so your photographer can get started.

• Web gallery: open the Favorites tab to review your picks, then click Submit favorites in the top bar and confirm with Submit selection.
• Mobile app: tap Review Selection (it changes to Ready to Submit when you reach your limit), check your picks, then tap Submit.

After you submit, the gallery becomes read-only, so your picks can't be changed by accident.

Some galleries let you keep changing your favourites after you submit; if you make a change, submit again. Otherwise, contact your photographer — they can reopen your selection for you.

Downloading Your Photos

The gallery includes a short built-in guide that points out the main controls in your own gallery. It runs automatically the first time you open a gallery, and you can replay it at any time by choosing Replay guide from the gallery menu.
