Mobile Gallery Viewer & Protection
When you tap a gallery card from your My Galleries screen, PixoProof opens the mobile photo viewer.
Opening and Browsing Your Gallery
- Tap Your Album: From the My Galleries screen, tap the gallery card you wish to explore.
- Opening Progress: An Opening gallery status bar appears briefly while your photos load.
- Explore Photos: Once the gallery opens, tap on any photo to view it fullscreen, pinch to zoom, and swipe left or right to browse through images.
(Note: Selecting favorites and submitting photo selections work seamlessly just like the web gallery. For detailed steps on making and submitting selections, see How to Select Your Photos.)

If your photographer has enabled downloads for your gallery, you can save single images or the entire collection directly to your device.
Saving an Individual Photo

- A Preparing your download sheet confirms that your ZIP is being prepared. You can close the gallery: we email you when it's ready.

Screen & Privacy Protection
To protect your personal memories from unauthorized copying:
- Screenshot Prevention: While the gallery viewer is open, screenshot capture and screen recordings are automatically blocked by your device.
- If a screenshot or screen recording is attempted, the captured image will appear blank or blocked to keep your photos secure.
Navigating Back
- Within the Gallery: Tap the in-app back arrow to return to previous folders, collections, or the gallery cover.
- Returning to My Galleries: When you reach the gallery cover or top level, tapping the back arrow or using your phone's back gesture takes you back to your My Galleries screen.
Connection Errors & Closed Galleries
If your device loses internet connectivity or your gallery access changes:
- Connection Drops: If a network issue occurs while loading, an Unable to Load screen appears with:
- Retry: Tap to reconnect and reload the gallery once your connection is back.
- Go Back: Tap to return safely to your My Galleries screen.
- Expired or Closed Access: If your gallery session has expired or the photographer closed the album, the app displays a notice explaining that access is no longer active. If you still need access to your photos, contact your photographer directly for an updated invitation link.
